. . . Well I looked in the dictionary and I saw that success meant favorable outcome as well as gaining of wealth and fame. I feel that success doesn’t have anything to do with a person being famous. A person can be famous for being outrageous and wild but that doesn’t make you successful. I believe that when you have accomplished a goal or have gain knowledge you have become successful. I honestly don’t think that the amount of money you make makes you successful. Others may inherit money but haven’t done anything constructive with their lives. I think that the amount of people you have influenced makes you successful. Influencing someone or changing their mindset is an unspeakable honor.
Paula Abdul is very successful to me. She started as a Lakers Girl and has ventured off into so many horizons. I am a dance major so I feel that anyone who starts dancing and teaches someone how to dance is an inspiration. The gift of giving is the best gift of all. She has taught many celebrities how to dance and started them off on the right foot in their career. She also has a jewelry line, fashion line and was previously a performer. I want to eventually do all those things. I like that she isn’t just focused on one thing but she has gone into other desires. A successful person can’t be one minded or just focus on one major. You have to be open to new things. My dad is very successful to me. He has accomplished almost every goal that he has created in life. He is a chief engineer at CLTV, he teaches at two colleges, is the director of audio and video at Victory Apostolic Church and has directed for many White sox games as well as Chicago Fire Soccer games. His lists of accomplishments never end. I feel that your morals and beliefs make you the person that you are so if you lose that then who are you? There are people that just do anything to be successful. I hate the term “you only live one life you matters well do anything.” I think that you only have one life to make positive decisions because those negative ones can put you in a negative place in the near future.
